Mitch Flax is responsible for thoughtfully sourcing, conducting due diligence, and syndicating private investments. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, which is foundational to Net Equity Capital’s strategic vision. The CAIA charter has significantly influenced Net Equity’s ethos and approach, reflecting Mitch’s thorough investment analysis methodology. His commitment to excellence and continuous learning forms the core principles of Net Equity Capital.
Prior to founding Net Equity, Mitch was a Managing Director at MassMutual where he served as a consultant to RIAs, independent broker/dealers, and other private wealth intermediaries in Texas. He was responsible for DC/DB plan distribution in both the private and public sector.
Mitch brings 20 years of in-depth and diverse investment experience, he has represented and advised top tier asset managers across multiple investment disciplines including real estate investment trusts (REITS), technology, tax advantaged fixed income, and equity sectors. He is an active real estate investor, syndicator, and developer. Additionally, Mitch has a passion to help startups through the Techstars ecosystem and is an active LP at Everywhere Ventures.
