As COO of Ryan Shehan Racing, he helps brands leverage the excitement of motorsports to reach new audiences, build loyalty, and stand out in competitive markets. His approach goes far beyond logo placement, offering partners authentic brand ambassadorship and innovative marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact.
In addition to his work in motorsports, Doug serves as Executive Director of Shehan Strong, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to inspiring and supporting disadvantaged youth, including those facing medical challenges. His leadership blends business acumen with a deep commitment to community impact.
Doug’s entrepreneurial journey spans over two decades, including founding Guide North, Inc., a professional services firm aligning business and technology strategies, and co-founding Epixx Technology Partners, an IT services company serving SMBs. Earlier in his career, he held key roles in technology account management and consulting.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Information Technology—and a former member of the UT Men’s Lacrosse Team—Doug combines strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a competitive spirit to drive success in every venture. Whether building a racing champion, guiding organizations through transformation, or leading community initiatives, he thrives at the intersection of innovation, performance, and purpose.
